Bilston Scent

Charming white-ground scent with bianco-sopra-bianco decoration.  The front and back have polychrome vignettes of 2 differing couples outdoors.  This is bordered with raised gold-leaf scroll decoration which is continued on the sides of the bottle.  Original copper-gilt pull-off stopper in the form of a basket of flowers (stuck).  Bilston C1770.
